Suamico is the home of Northeast Wisconsin's Zoo (NEW Zoo). The village is an affluent bedroom community mostly developed since 1980. There is fishing and boating on the Suamico River and the shore of Green Bay, and shops, restaurants, and boutiques to frequent. Suamico is also home to a variety of commercial and light industrial firms. It's the largest village in the United States when both land area and water area are considered. Population in 2010 was 11,346.
